Releasing tension from the spine is key to allowing for deeper expression of most asanas. Therefore, these classes usually begin seated to center the mind and connect the breath to rhythmic, warming movements. Class progression then moves to traditional yoga poses. Each class is customized based on students' energy and body needs. Gentle-Mild Semi-Active Level: Seated, hands, knees, and standing poses.

A unique exercise class that compliments our yoga classes. This class begins low to the ground but moves faster without breath or yoga philosophy focus. Our students loves the way it builds strength and balance. Please make sure you can easily do all our other classes before joining this class.

Restorative Asana, Breath, and Meditation. This is the slowest-moving class on our schedule. Restorative poses are supported by blankets, bolsters, chairs, the floor, or walls and held for longer periods of time with breath and mindfulness focus. Less movement and less talk allow you to take your yoga practice to a much deeper healing, renewing, and spiritual level. These classes last anywhere from 60-90 minutes. You can leave at any time.

MIMSY = Meditation in Movement Soft Yoga. This evening class is softer and slower than our daytime classes. Deep relaxation techniques, mindfulness and breath practices with yoga philosophy woven in-between. Heal, release, relax and renew. These classes last about 75 minutes. Please feel free to leave at any time.

Practice classical seated, standing, hands and knees and lying down asanas slowly with breath and mindfulness focus.
This class offers a variety of poses to stretch and strengthen the body. Take your yoga poses as deep or as gently as your body would like, using the floor, blocks, and other props for support if needed. This class ends with a ten minute final Savasana or Meditation Practice. Join our Zoom room at 8:15 for community chat.
