Feathered Pipe Ranch, Montana - Join us June 13-20, 2026

We are honored to have been invited back to lead another Retreat at the Feathered Pipe Ranch, celebrating its 51 st anniversary!

One year, when I was hosting a week at Feathered Pipe, I asked the director which week I could take (personally) where I could enjoy just being on the land. Which teacher would allow me to join the community without expecting me to attend all their sessions?

"Not many," was his answer. "Most of them are going to want you to participate fully."

As a teacher, I understand this. When training with a great teacher (and all the teachers that host a week at the Pipe are great!), it can be essential to participate fully in every session to get the full benefit of their teachings. Most extended trainings are designed to build up to a deeper yoga experience and, frequently, deep healing, which you may not fully experience if you miss a class or two.

This, to me, is the difference between a training and a retreat.

I have previously led training weeks at the Pipe, but last September, we invited all participants to experience a true Retreat. They were encouraged to stay on the property but could choose to take whatever offerings spoke to them. The feedback from the attendees was so positive that Diane and I did this again in June - 2023, 2024, and we will keep the same format for our August Retreat this year.

You can sometimes combine good training and a retreat, but something special happens when you are not tied to a daily schedule and are not worried about showing up on time or at all to scheduled events.

The land of Feathered Pipe asks you to slow down, breathe deeply, and listen to your heart's whispers in each moment. Diane and I are your additional guides to help you learn how to manage your mind so you can genuinely listen to your heart.

Like in previous years, we will offer a wide variety of therapeutic yoga, meditation in movement, soft yoga, yoga nidra, laughter yoga, breathing, meditation, and yoga philosophy sessions. Some of these sessions may be life-changing for you! In addition, elder sharing, journaling, and creative art sessions will be offered. Our sharing and laughter during these extra sessions have given us moments we will never forget.

But our deepest desire is for you to come and experience the magic of the land and the people of Feathered Pipe and to receive delicious physical and spiritual nurturing every day - simply by being on this sacred land.

We invite you to experience being with teachers who want to spend time with you and get to know you.

We want you to meet people of all ages, sizes, colors, and backgrounds, and to watch yourself let go of the prejudices you may not even have realized you had about yourself and others.

Seven nights at the Pipe is heaven on earth.
Many of our students write us about their life-changing week at the Ranch.

You will never regret investing in a week at Feathered Pipe.

Once you visit, you will want to return over and over again.
