A GENTLE WAY Yoga studio in La
Mesa ( San Diego) California, was opened
August 1, 2001 by Lanita
Varshell.
Lanita has been teaching Gentle Yoga since 1995, and has been
interviewed by L.A. Yoga, Yoga Journal Magazine, and has taught at the Yoga
Journal/International Health and Fitness Conference.
Lanita has developed a unique style of Gentle, but very deep yoga that is stress reducing, yoga for your back, blood pressure, and flexibility. This style "Meditation in Movement" can be done at the simplest levels or taken to deep advanced stretching and toning. It is very focused on the central nervous system and energy centers of the body.
We have several other teachers on our staff teaching
Gentle to Traditional Hatha Yoga, all with their own personal flavor - from vigorous to deeply relaxing classes.
The studio is open seven days a week offering 30 classes per week, plus Private Sessions, Yoga Therapy,
Teacher Training, Workshops and Amethyst Crystal Bio Mat Healing Sessions, and Yoga Retreats. We host world famous yoga teachers, Authors, and healers.
A Gentle Way focuses on making yoga and joyful
movement fun, affordable, and do-able for any size, age, or health
challenged individual. Lanita's trademark style of yoga: "Meditation in Movement Style" is known for deep healing, pain release, and safe, effective deep stretch.
