Getting Started

Please read this page before attending our Studio.
Students new to our Center MUST arrive 15 minutes before class or workshop start time. We cannot give you your best yoga experience if the teacher does not have time with you before class. We lock our doors, and turn our phones off for our students peace and privacy.

NEWCOMER'S WORKSHOP
Held Saturdays at 2pm
Mar. 6th- Hatha Yoga Intro
Mar. 13th - Gentle Yoga Intro
Since we have a variety of classes, levels, and styles, it is important that students who have never experienced yoga before or who have health or weight challenges do one of the following BEFORE attending a group class.
1. Phone Consultation
Speaking with one of our teachers or office staff will help you easily determine which starting option or classes will be best for you.
2. One-on-One Private Session
Private sessions with a staff teacher begin as low as $55 and go up to $85 for 1-1/2-2 hours. Cost depends on time of day, your needs, and your teacher's experience.
A private session is designed specifically for you, keeping in mind your yoga goals and health challenges. Your instructor will take time to listen to your needs and concerns, watch your body, and customize a series of movements and poses to determine how open your body is, and which classes will best suit you. Click here to go to our Private Session MENU page.
3. Newcomers' Group Workshop - $25
Held monthly for 2 – 3 hours on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. If you are new to yoga, this class is a MUST. These workshops allow you to get to know more about yoga, our Center's styles of yoga, and help determine what weekly classes will be best for you.
NEW TO OUR CENTER, BUT NOT TO YOGA?
Students who have already practiced yoga and who have no health challenges are encouraged to choose from one of the above options, but may visit any OPEN class their first time without a consultation. Please read class descriptions carefully before walking into a new class. Make sure that you have chosen the best level for your body.
You must arrive 15-20 minutes prior to start time if you are new.
Sorry, we do not let new students in late or at the last minute. The teacher needs time with you before class begins. We lock our doors for our clients' peace and privacy when class begins.
